Dong Tang acquired her BA (1996) and MA (2000) in Language and Literature at Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute. She then pursued her 2nd MA in Educational Psychology and acquired the degree in 2003 at the University of Arizona, USA. She started teaching English for university students in Beijing & Vancouver since 1996.
She is the school director for Lower Mainland College. She is currently directing Excel IELTS and TOEFL programs, and instructing various English courses and test-oriented subjects. She has developed two sets of IELTS curriculum and training materials. She is the Chief IELTS/TOEFL Curriculum Designer at Victor College, Lower Mainland College, and Excel Language Institute.
Dong Tang has trained over 20 IELTS instructors locally in Vancouver, and she has successfully trained over 500 IELTS students to enter universities and/or to get immigration status. |

Michelle Tao obtained her master degree in TESL program (Teach English as the Second Language) in UBC of Canada and her Ph.D degree in Arts in China. She has taught IELTS, College English, English for Business Communication both in China and Canada for more than 10 years. She has ever been an on-line English instructor for City University of Hong Kong, a research coordinator for University of Pennsylvania in U.S.A, a research coordinator for Simon Fraser University in Canada and a visiting scholar at Elon University in U.S.A.
As an interpreter and organizer of the university delegations from China, she has visited some famous universities in Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Netherlands etc. Both her teaching experience in Hong Kong, Canada, and the United States and her business trips to different countries have broadened her horizon and enriched her teaching. |

Lu, Lin has over 10 years working experience in the university environment and over 5 years management, consultation and marketing experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree of English Language and British and American Literature. She is completing a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology in the University of British Columbia. Lu, Lin has extensive experience teaching students. She has taught over 500 TOEFL/IELTS/LPI students within 3 years. She was a TV host for an English Program for Henan TV Station. She was a visiting scholar at City University of New York. Apart from her academic achievement, Lu, Lin has been involved in immigration business for about 5 years, thus she is very familiar with Canadian immigration and student visa issues.

Crystal Buchan has a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University. While at Simon Fraser University she majored in Philosophy with a minor in Sociology. As well, at SFU Crystal also took an intensive year long theatre program. While in this theatre program she worked on script memorization, voice work, and different acting methods/exercises. During her undergraduate degree, when attending the University of Victoria Crystal took Linguistics courses that focused on Phonetics and Semantics. She has always had a keen interest in languages, different ways of speaking, and self presentation. Currently, she is completing an Applied Project Management Certificate with a specialization in Leadership out of the University of British Columbia.
Crystal has been teaching IELTS Speaking classes for over a year now at our institute. While following the IELTS format, students can plan on discussing a wide variety of topics in her class. Students can expect to be speaking throughout the class, learning more vocabulary surrounding a given topic, and participating in mock IELTS exams. Crystals classes are interactive, focused, and enjoyable. |

Steven Runstedler – Senior TOEIC Instructor / Program Coordinator, over ten years TOEIC teaching experience. He was an advanced level English instructor for six years in Japan and later a co-owner of a popular language institute in Ebisu, Tokyo. Steven also acted as the head teacher of several reputable English language schools in Seoul, Korea from 2000 - 2005. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Windsor where he majored in Asian Studies and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. He also studied Japanese translation at ICU (Kokusai Kirisutokyou Daigaku) a renowned university in Tokyo, Japan. He is a fluent speaker of the Japanese language and is currently studying Korean. Steven is a recognized TOEIC/TOEFL expert and offers fun and dynamic English Power Speaking classes tailor-made for beginners, intermediate and advanced level students alike. |

David LeBlanc, BA, TESL Canada – David was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. He graduated with honors from Trent University in Peterborough, Canada. He studied English Literature and Classical Civilization.
David has taught ESL English and Test Prep for over ten years in Okayama and Nagano, Japan, and here at home in Vancouver.
David is interested in everything from aardvarks to zymurgy. His favorite book is the Dictionary. He is an active volunteer and advocate in Vancouver’s cycling community.
He works everyday towards making the world a more livable place. |

Panthinee Charasaiya Lynn has an extensive English teaching experience in both university environment and private school setting. She holds a BA of English from Bangkok University and a MA of Applied Linguistics from Mahidol University, Bangkok. She full time taught English Language in Bangkok University for 6 years. In 2005, she went to England to pursue her study and acquired her 2nd Master Degree in MSc in TESOL (Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages) from University of Bristol, England in 2007. She joined Excel Language Institute in 2008 and is responsible for Excel English Fundamental (ESL) program and English Writing / LPI courses. |
